Have you ever wondered why our furry companions seem to be communicating with us? “The Disguised Blessing, a Jewish Adventure For All Ages” is a multicultural approach to a Jewish family who struggles to keep their religious observance and traditions in a remote location. The family had to recently relocated from a busy Jewish life center to the isolated mountains. Luckily, their two cats and two dogs find out that something is plaguing the family. A suspenseful, engaqging and exciting family tale.

A well written story with a diverse, colorful cast of animal and human characters. A gripping and engaging narrative .An endearing tale told from the point of view of a cat named Sparky along with another cat and two dogs belonging to a Jewish family who have recently relocated to a mysterious mountain home. Sharma has woven a very interesting and harrowing tale of animal insight and relationships, spiritual mysteries and enduring faith, She has fleshed out the characters, both animal and human, in a very believable, sympathetic manner through their individual personalities shine. The narrator does an excellent reading as she shifts from character to character, giving each distinct and identifiable voice and personality in a manner that flows and is easy to follow. Highly recommend as a good yarn to listen to by the fire.

A Different Point of View

I am a fan of Ana Sharma's creative works. Everything she does, you can feel the passion and energy in it. This children's fictional book is no exception. The Disguised Blessing is an interesting story from the point of view of the family's pets. I like the development of human and animal characters. The pets show their concern for their family, which sends them on an adventure to heal the disturbance in the home. This book is good for middle-grade readers, especially with a Jewish culture and traditions.
