These challenges must not only be addressed on a socio-economic and political scale, but also through technology. That is where this book comes in: examining the role of digital technologies, Bitcoin and digital currencies as tools and means to achieve the most important global initiatives facing our leaders.

This nineteenth book in the Crypto Hipster series, entitled The Digital Path for Global Sustainability Goals, draws upon three Crypto Hipster podcasts. Tad Piper, CFA, and, who at the time of this interview was Chief Financial Officer with Compute North, shares how the company was focusing on creating environmental sustainability using Bitcoin mining. Shalom Osiadi, founder of food-data aggregator Esca, shares his views on how we can collectively achieve the United Nations sustainability goals for health and food by 2030. And Greg Magarshak, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Intercoin, shares his vision for creating sustainable city-driven utility-token economies where we all can benefit collectively.
