Matt Stone rode into Markleeville one hot dusk, with a wind at his back that promised summer thunder. He was tall and lean, with a narrow, clean-shaven face above the collar of his oilskin duster. His eyes were a hard pale blue, like chips of ice, and his black hair was long like an Apache's and held back with a strip of leather. The coat was open, revealing a buckskin vest and the pair of silver Colts at his hips.

He rode a huge, sleek black horse with a bullet scar showing in white hairs across one flank. Its name was Lucky. That horse had carried him through Gettysburg alive, and then taken him west, where he'd spent three years wandering, trying to get the echoes of battle out of his head.

He managed to escape death in Gettysburg, and just when he begins to believe he has something good with Anne, destiny takes a shot and sends everything spinning out of control.

Great Quick Listen!

In this they deal with the aftermath of part two. The reason Matt was hiding catches up with him. There is funny part with Joe and the girl he fancies. Another great listen.

great storyline, great continuation of the second part. the narrator does a great job. overall excellent story.

Great Series!!!

I'm loving this series, it will have you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next!!! Matt and Anne are falling in love with each other and I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book. I recommend as a must read/listen. Awesome storyline and characters.

Book 3 continues...

Book three brings back the characters you love with new problems and wins. The story still grows the characters in a way that keeps you hooked. The reading is clear and fun, making it easy to enjoy. This next part is just as good as the first two.

The truths unfold bit by bit. The sheriff is painstakingly slow and methodical in finding the truth, but does he have ulterior motives??? O enjoyed following along. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was okay.

Aftermath or Resolution Or a lttle bit of both!

Find out in book 3 of The DEBT: a 4-part novella series based on Cowboy, ex-soldier, Matt Stone. Lucky, his philandering horse and Annie their continuing story. Matt has fallen for Annie. This part of the story deals with the aftermath of the bitter employee, someone from the past, shooting, kidnapping and theft! Does resolution for the thief, kidnapper, shooter unfold? Do Matt and Annie find their resolution and comfort in each other's arms? Does the ranch hand get the woman he is devoted to and loves? Full of all kinds of aftermath, unfoldings and resolutions sprinkled with humor. Another great story line by this author. Narration was very good and keeps you engaged in listening to the end. Good series.

The Debt book 3

I think these could have all made one nice book, instead of 3. And at the end I felt it was a bit rushed and wanted more. Over all nice series. You definitely need to listen to them all! Loved the setting and nice narration.

Wonderful

The Debt part 3 by Lexy Timms is a wonderful military protester romance. Hannah Pralle did a wonderful job with the narration. The short story is entertaining and enjoyable. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.would recommend
