Whether you are a PharmD, PhD, MD, DPT, DC, or DNP, you likely have a credit card, student loan, and/or mortgage debt you would like to pay down. While your professors worked hard to teach you the ins and outs of clinical practice, it's unlikely they talked about personal finance as often making money is an anathema to being a good clinician and an unwelcome conversation.
Professionals like you value the caring for others, regardless of personal cost, often creating a strong drive against taking money for their services and doing whatever it takes financially to get to the finish line. How can you put a price on becoming a doctor?
However, those health professionals can feel good about paying down debt which is consistent with their values and even better about prevention.
