Resumen del Editor

A true story of survival and resilience, The Daytime Lives of the Ladies of the Night details the daylight hours of three women surviving while working for a notorious pimp and their trainee, Tee.

The Daytime Lives of the Ladies of the Night is both a stand-alone story and a great add-on to the debut memoir, Never a $7 Whore, by Toni Crowe.

Irish, Essence, and Baby live together under Prince’s rules. Each woman leads an isolated, separate, and painful existence as they work to survive day-to-day living while meeting the demands of their night jobs. Tee, the newest addition to the crew, is being trained to be a paid escort.

This well-written, heartbreaking short story reminds us all of the fact that no matter where you start in life, we all want the same things: the American dream. Success is within your reach if you have the desire and determination to change your destiny.

Carpe Diem

I very much enjoyed and found informative the "Never a 7 Dollar Whore", so much so I recommended it to my book club and bought this novella. This novella however was to redundant with the book. There was not enough new information to make it interesting. It was not until the very last part about what happened to Baby did I feel there was anything new.
I am currently still intending to get the next book in the series. I am hoping to learn more about how you transitioned to the board room and how, if any, of your life among a whore house helped or hurt your career.
Thank you.

Good Memoir

Nonfiction memoir written by Toni Crowe. About how Toni left her home and family in Chicago at age 18 to move to Cleveland with the man she had fallen in love with. This is a short book that describes how Toni and other women became and survived as ladies of the night. This show a personal view into her early life. Toni Crowe has come a long way and is very sucessful now.
