Samantha Shannon is the Fantasy author whose works I most eagerly anticipate.

I most admire the scope of the world she has created and secondly, how unforced and effectively she has reflected the current world, particularly in this 5th in the series.

A delicious masterpiece

I love everything about it! The plot, the twists, the character development, the rhythm, God… the romance… Samantha’s writing is beautiful. I’ve been waiting for years for this book and I am not disappointed. My only hope is that we will not have to wait so long to have the next book because I can’t wait to know what’s going to happen.
