Colton Briscoe has a lot riding on his ranch’s Pumpkinfest. He gave up his cushy job at a law firm to help his brothers save the property they’ve always called home. When Mina Baxter, his childhood crush, shows up on her campaign tour, the festival immediately starts getting publicity.

As the underdog in the mayoral election, Mina knows she has some work ahead of her. Her opponent constantly uses the fact that she’s single against her. When coupled with the fact that she returned home soon before announcing she was running, it’s become a problem.

After reuniting with her childhood crush, Colton, Mina and her campaign manager come up with a brilliant idea. Stage a fake wedding with Colton, convince everyone they’re married, and win the mayoral race in a couple of weeks. But neither she nor Colton are prepared to fight the growing attraction between them.
