The story was great the romance was sexy I also liked when he stood up to his mother on who he should love. I like the new characters that’s coming in the series.

The bad thing about a Brenda Jackson novel is getting to the end. She is a master character weaver and I’m always desperate for more . And then, I have to wait… This is another winner and I can’t wait for what’s next!

This is a must read! The author did it again! The story line kept me from wanting to put it down and keep listening. I am ready for more!

I love this series! The narration is always excellent and it's always a interesting new couple that's introduced. Can't wait until the next installment comes out.

Another winner

I enjoyed the overall story. I really liked the shift towards the protagonist being more empowered. I often feel that the theme of not being worthy of love is to prevalent. Also loved the sub story, It gives more depth to the read.
