The Corn Siege is satirical fiction, not prophecy. It glories in skewering the people who don't believe we need farms because we have grocery stores. It mocks the people who believe you can plant a cow and harvest lettuce. In The Corn Siege, people get what they deserve: the harvest of the kinds of seeds they actually planted.

Humorously Depressing

Joseph's light hearted voice helps ease the sting that this well-written but quite depressing story inflicts. The all too close to the truth (from this pov) behaviors of some of the characters would be hilarious, if i thought people would actually gain self reflection in this scenario.

it's sobering, but well worth the read or listen.

Being there

As the story is narrated, it is as though you are in the next room. Listening to the actual happenings. Joseph has the ability to not only bring the action to you but put you into the exact vicinity where it is happening. Thank you for another great adventure.

omg a must listen

Ok...this was excellent. I had to rewind it over and over because how nuts some of the stuff is. this needs to be listened to by everyone. I will listen to it over and over. the performance was spectacular.

A delightful political satire with a powerful and practical manifesto added. I can only wish every American would read it!
