Now Quinn’s stuck juggling a miniature mom who lives in a dollhouse, a school bully with a knack for knowing everything, a crush who suddenly likes the enemy, and an aunt whose “healthy” dessert experiments could be classified as biohazards.
Oh, and don’t forget the neighbor’s emotionally unstable guinea pig who’s gone on a hunger strike, or the dance competition where Quinn totally blanks and nearly exposes her purse-dwelling parent.

Just when Quinn thinks things can’t get any weirder, she gets a cryptic call from her long-lost dad… from a number that immediately self-destructs.

Middle school is hard. Middle school with a pocket-sized mom, a know-it-all bully, and a rodent named Dominic? Practically impossible. But Quinn’s learning that when everything goes haywire, all you can do is find the silver lining… and maybe carry tweezers.

My kids liked it (Ages 14, 9)

It seemed like light-hearted Honey-I-Shrunk the Kids fun. I didn't hear all of it myself, but my kids said it was great. They liked this author's other YA school adventure story, so we gave it a go. The AI narrator was decent, but certain inflection points were lost on it.
