As with the first edition, the second edition of The Common Ground: Political Issues Facing America focuses on 10 issues facing the United States. Each issue is explored through the lens of both the political right and the political left. This exploration culminates in a look at potential common ground both sides have with each other on each issue.
The topics of discussion are Open Dialogue, Abortion, Climate Change, Education, Illicit Drug Use, Gun Control, Hate Speech, Immigration, Taxes, and Government Size and Spending. Unsurprisingly, these issues are just as relevant today as they were during the release of the first edition.
