Laugh-out-loud ridiculousness
Wodehouse isn’t for everyone, but if you appreciate light British comedy, then he is perfection. My sister and I grew up reading these books, and we both laughed aloud as we listened to The Code of the Woosters on a recent road trip. Pure escapism.

Excellent! High wit and humor!
The man who reads this is simply marvelous! He makes each character quite unique and therefore easy to follow. And I positively love PG Wodehouse. Hilarious humor and high wit throughout- I wish more authors made such delightful reads without the use of filth as he does. Simply carefree, guilt free laughter. Love it!

impossible to encapsulate or describe the marvelous work of the narrator. Wodehouse of course is wonderfully witty as always, but the cherry on top was the unexpectedly wonderful acting as voicing.

Cecil's voice plus Wodehouse's plot = delight
If Wodehouse were still with us, I feel confident he would grant Jonathan Cecil exclusive rights to all future audio interpretations of his novels and stories. Cecil's vocal characterizations are nothing short of virtuosic (if, as Bertie would say, that is the word I want). By the climactic scene you would swear there are five or six different people in the room with him. And of course, Wodehouse's comedy is as highly honed as ever set down in English. A hilarious collaboration of author and interpreter, this makes for an especially good antidote to rush-hour traffic!

Best yet
This is the best yet in the series! I LOVE that there is no gross slurping voice narrated to signify an overweight gentleman. At times I get annoyed with Jeeves taking advantage of Bertie, but not this time. All the voices were on point in this one. Great fun! Loved it!

My Favorite One, so far...
This book is the best of Wooster and the best ending so far. I am in love with Jeeves and Wooster and all the friends and relations. This book should only be enjoyed after you’ve become well acquainted with the whole set of characters and their back stories, IMO. I only say that because this book is truly amazing and should be honored by the reader’s full appreciation of the characters. It’s a full length story, the second full length Jeeves book I’ve listened to so far. I am listening to them in order so I’ve listen to several of the short stories as well but you don’t need to go in order. However, each story does have at least one reference to a previous tale so I’d recommend reading them in order just catch the inside references. Also, I’m sticking with Cecil narrating. His story telling is just way too much fun. No one else can voice Wooster’s fop-headed innocence like him. I can’t get enough. I’m addicted. 😀
