Following his murder, Alex is drawn into the Churn. A dark abyss removed from the Afterplane. Confused and alone, a spectre appears to him. In his frail state, a feminine form begins a process that can’t be stopped. Requesting that Alex fix mistakes that were made and restore balance to the Afterplanes. After this chance encounter, Alex awakens in the Infernium realm.

A land barren of vegetation and abundant in threat. The skies of Infernium burn only to have brief moments of a dull blaze, spilling ash onto the ground. Fighting for his life, picking up a parasitic slug and roaming the wastes are his new reality. Encountering Dolls of Infernium, Caym the Lord of the realm, and Jeska who aids Alex’s efforts. He must piece together the task he was given, while arguing with the parasite that now infests his body.
