Loved this book!

As the book unfolds, the troubles that come to Carrie seem insurmountable. The author creates an amazing masterpiece weaving the story together to make the reader feel God's grace and redemption far greater than a particular church group or just a particular person's story. God works in the hearts of His people in all situations and in all walks of life. Suzanne Woods Fisher is a gifted writer and her works bless the heart of the reader with hope and faith and God's unfathomable love.

Good story

This is a good Amish story with a wide variety of characters and situations. I wish the narrator would take voice lessons to eliminate her overly nasal tone. It bothered me much of the time. Her performance was pretty good, so I enjoyed it nonetheless.
