Are the biblical gospels historically reliable eyewitness accounts? What does the evidence say? And if they are, what implications does that have for what these writers claim about Jesus? In this book, Christian Apologist and self-proclaimed Bible Nerd Evan Minton defends the reliability of the gospels. He looks into the issue of whether the New Testament writings we have today reflect what the originals said 2,000 years ago, whether Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John whose names are at the top of the gospels are really the people who wrote these books, whether secular extra biblical documents and archeology corroborate the persons and events mentioned in the gospels, and more. Minton's conclusion is that not only are the gospels some of the most reliable and accurate documents from antiquity, but they were telling the truth about who Jesus was, what he said, and what he did, including rising from the dead after being crucified.

This book is the first in a series of e-books compiling articles from Minton's blog on the Cerebral Faith website. The blog series is preserved in its original form, and of all the e-books in this series, it reads the most like a regular book, prompting Minton to often jokingly refer to it as his "Blog Book".

Great book a lot of really good information very helpful! The only thing I didn’t like is with his examples and illustrations tended to ramble on a little bit too long for me, but still highly recommend
