Peggy, you're better than this

Information would have been better presented, not like gossip or sprinkled with snide comments and insults. The information provide is factual and easily searched for with various internet search engines. I can see how all the mean and spiteful things Hillary had done or lied about... when she didn't need to. How she ruined people's lives to make room for friends. "just the Facts Ma'am" would have created a larger audience. I'm conservative. I love Peggy Noonan's books. This book is dated. She wrote this book while Hillary was running for Senator. Still, in between important facts, where snide and insulting remarks (well deserved). Peggy could have decided to reach nice 'soccer moms', grandmothers and other gentile ladies who like things nice. I know politics is a contact sport, but this book could have had a broader world view in mind. Instead, she just fueled the conservative base.

A Speech that Doesn't End

Peggy Noonan was an excellent speech writer for President Ronal Reagan. But speech writing, in its rhetoric, flare, and oratorical devices is entirely different than writing literature. And in no small manner does Noonan prove the point. The Case Against Hillary is like an Op Ed, that simply doesn't end. Between a few interesting anecdotes, and smidegon of research, is an endless diatribe of all that she believes is wrong with the Clintons. I simply do not know why Peggy Noonan, a speech writer, is any more qualified to talk about the merits of someone's political candidacy, than you or me? Don't make my mistake and use your credit elsewhere.
