Love Sam & Gabriel

Yet another great story by Toni. I am thoroughly enjoying the stories that I keep listening to by Toni. Very well told with an amazing storyline.

Very interesting

I really enjoyed this book. Great story line; all sorts of fantastic chactors. I recommend this book.

Dark and Spicy

This is another wonderfully written book by Ms. Goode. It is fast paced and action- Packed with many twists and turns. Sam works for her uncle Charles in an organization that maintains the order and safety of humans from the dangers of supernatural. She meets Gabriel, a fallen angel who wants more than she can offer. She doesn't trust him but must work with him. The ending is most surprising resulting in a cliff hanger. I desperately need to know what happens next. The narrator did a good job.

Kept me interested till the end!

Very well written book that takes you on a journey where you meet some very interesting characters. I loved how Gabriel evolved in the story along side Sam. The twists and turns were very well placed and an interesting experience of a book. The narration of the book was very well articulated and easy to listen to. Looking forward to the next book.

Wonderful

The Calling by Toni Goode is an amazing good VS. evil romance. Christopher Branam did a wonderful job with the narration, and bringing the story to life. The story is entertaining, interesting, romantic, and more. There are some twists and turns that will make you think. There is more to the story than good Vs. evil. Things are not always what they seem. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.would recommend

awesome narrator

Love the narrator, he's my favorite! the story tends to cut him off on the last word in a chapter. great story line, can't wait to start the next one.

A Story That Sneaks Up on You

The beginning of the book was a bit challenging to follow due to the time jumps and multiple character names, which took some time to settle into. The initial interaction between Sam and Gabriel didn’t immediately spark chemistry for me, but as the story progressed, things started to improve. Around an hour in, I questioned whether I’d stick with it, but I’m so glad I did because it gradually pulled me in.

I was especially excited to start this book since I’ve been wanting to dive into this author’s work, and getting in at the beginning of a series felt like the perfect opportunity. While I’m not usually a fan of cliffhangers—this one is a big one—I have to admit, I’ll absolutely be back for book two! The story eventually found its rhythm, and I’m intrigued enough to see where it goes next.

One small note: the narration could have used clearer pauses between scene changes, as it was occasionally hard to distinguish transitions. That said, by the second half, the story had built up enough intrigue to keep me invested, and I’m looking forward to continuing the journey!

how can a story do this to me?? I loved the story line and the characters made me WANT more. the performance only enhanced the story. I highly recommend this book!!

Sam and Gabriel

Any lovers of romance and sexy scenes will find themselves falling in love with this story of love and hate. The characters are well-developed and interesting. I enjoyed the love story as well as the supernatural elements.

I liked that the love/hate relationship between Sam and Gabriel shines through. It kept me interested, and I loved how their sexual frustration between the two main characters built as did their daily frustration with each other. I did find myself enjoying the tug-of-war love between Gabriel and Sam, it is what kept me listening until the very end of the book.

The narration by Christopher Branam is well done.

Great Narration!

Christopher Branam did a fabulous job narrating. His voices and emotions were great and he brought the characters to life. The storyline was interesting and there were some suspenseful scenes, however it was just okay for me. I found there was just too much angst in the story for my liking. Everyone just seemed to be angry all the time. The heroine never seemed to like anyone and treated Gabriel poorly throughout the book. I found myself having to put the book down and listen to something else and then going back to it to finish it. And then when I finally really got into the story it ended with a huge cliffhanger...talk about a letdown. I am not a fan of cliffhangers so if the rest of the books in the series are going to be the same it is not one I will likely continue. I will however look for more books performed by the narrator as he was fabulous. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily provided this unbiased review.
