Resumen del Editor

Told in the vibrant, honest prose that has made Eugenia Price a classic religious writer and best-selling novelist, The Burden Is Light offers an intimate account of her conversion to Christianity at the age of 33. Beautiful telling of God's redemption

First of all, I love Eugenia Price's books. This year, I've re-read the St. Simon's Trilogy and have started the Georgia series. I had read "The Burden Is Light" several years ago, but was so excited when I saw that Audible had this and her other non-fiction books in their catalog. I've just finished listening and DID NOT want it to end! What a wonderful story of God's transformation of Genie Price's life. I did not know (or didn't remember from the first reading) that she was really not a believer before her childhood friendship with Ellen was rekindled. Genie went to belief in Jesus' redemptive power kicking and arguing, but when she fully believed....she BELIEVED and turned her entire life around to honor and worship Him alone. The narration by Susie Althens is excellent and I recommend this book totally. May God Bless You as you enter into Genie Price's story of her transformation from pagan to believer.
