Couldn’t stop listening. Great ending. This author never lets you down. Will be looking for her next great book

Do not read this review if you have not read the book!

That being said there is a terrible flaw in the storyline that has thrown me for the second part of the book. The writer revealed in the beginning of the story that he had just bumped into Claire at a pool and indicated that they had bumped into each other only once before, in other words they were pretty much strangers.
However, we find out that that is completely false in that he knew her very well as she was and had been his wife’s best friend for years. He then mentions several incidents about spending time with Claire and her ex.

Such an editing oversight.

Keeps you guessing

Haven’t disliked any of this author’s books and this one isn’t an exception! He Always keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat! Ignore SB she has a personal issue with the author.

Unusual Twist & Plot

Great Story with a very different plot than I've read before, revenge from the grave and beyond, and it worked rather well.
New to this Author, shorter stories that start with a bang and almost abruptly end, leaving me wanting more. Free with Audible Plus is a real PLUS. Will be reading more.

"SB" is trying to hurt the author...

Evidently an ex or someone who disagrees with his politics but it's playing dirty. I loved the book by the way. I have read anything that wasn't totally entertaining by this author. Plus it's my favorite genre.
So because I want to negate SB's vindictive reviews I'm going to give this 5 stars. I also enjoyed the heck out of it. It's a great old fashioned revenge story and they just never get old.

I've read a lot of this Authors stories. They were all Great. He's a very creative writer.
This story is a revenge story on a cheating husband and his lover. And wow does she get her revenge. The story has sadness and the shocking revenge, and it sure kept my interest. Another Great story by this Excellent Author 👍

Great Story - - Ignore "SB"

I've noticed "SB" posts fake nasty reviews on all Daniel's books. Apparently it's personal and petty. The books have all been good and I am glad I recognized a vendetta and ignored them. If the person actually hated his writing so much, why keep buying every book as soon as it comes out?

I enjoyed it.

There is just something about Daniel Hurst's devious and strange books I do really like.

Unexpected

The twist at the end was not expected. R the casualties of war when revenge is taken out everyone has to pay.

ugh

Too much mouth breathing and swallowing from the male narrator. Thankfully, the book is short but it could have been much shorter - it is full of cheesy, trite cliches and alot of the inner monologues are repetitive. The story's premise is ridiculous and the ending makes no sense.
