Philanthropist and business leader Dr Andrew Forrest AO calls on Australia's business sector to invest in clean energy, ocean conservation and closing the inequality gap for the good of the nation. Dr Forrest's 2020 Boyer Lectures makes the case for business to collaborate with philanthropy to drive positive change on multiple fronts.

1. Oil vs Water: Confessions of a carbon emitter Andrew Forrest calls for an urgent move to green hydrogen ‘on a global scale’. For Dr Forrest, the question is not whether green hydrogen will become the next global energy form, but who will be the first to mass-produce it?

2. Lighting up our ocean Dr Forrest argues the key issues facing our oceans – deoxygenation, overfishing and plastic pollution – are our fault, and it's us who must fix them. He says it's philanthropic and government interventions, at a scale not yet seen, that will save our seas.

3. The economics of inequality Dr Andrew Forrest discusses how inequality manifests in our modern capitalist system – through intergenerational dependence on welfare, lack of access to finance, a lack of policy focus on early childhood development in vulnerable communities and through modern slavery.
