A World War II veteran and a teenage boy tormented at home and school form a friendship that changes the lives of not just them but all those around them. A story of hope that pushes the boundaries of friendship and love and how far those limits can be taken.
As the friendship between them grows, Potts encourages Callum to face life and go for what he wants, and maybe even the girl, Lucy, at school he has a crush on.
