finished in 24 hours which is rare for me. I start so many books and lose interest in the first hour, but I couldn't put this one down. it's so, so good. Brutal, but triumphant. I'm spending all my credits on this author!

Excellent Read!

This story, told through various perspectives, reaches out to readers to FEEL what each character feels. Powerfully written and deeply moving, it does exactly that! I highly recommend it.

What an amazing author

I don’t know why it has taken me so long to find this author who is willing to address very difficult issues, to see the world through the eyes of a child, a teen, and different adults; all wrapped into complicated relationships.

This was Such an uplifting story of hope and what one good, decent person is capable of.
I really liked the two main characters, they were beautifully developed and I was so invested in their story.
I listened to this book in one day. The narrator was excellent, the villain was rotten to the core, the main characters were flawed, but oh so lovely.
I highly recommend this book, most definitely worth the credit.

Beautifully Written

A moving story with well-developed characters. Hearing from the different perspectives made it easy to relate to each character. I loved every part of the story - from the beginning to the end.
