Chris shook his head, trying to clear away the cobwebs that fogged his thinking. Where was he? He got up and padded over to the window, parting the drapes just enough to peer out without being seen. A parking lot, a street, a gas station across the street. Nothing looked familiar.
Chris Johnson has woken in a strange hotel room, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. What he does have, however, is the keys to a new identity and a bank account with over a billion dollars to his name. With just a cryptic note offering a hint as to who he was, he follows the directions to his new home, and his new life.
Soon, Chris meets his lovely neighbor, Mollie, and a romance begins to bloom. Mollie is beautiful, kind, and something else. She seems to hold a clue to his past identity. But Mollie has also hinted at a dark past, and memories best left unremembered.
As Chris digs deeper into his past, along with some help from a mysterious online friend, he begins to suspect there is more to him and Mollie than meets the eye. What have they shared?

A lovely introduction to the series.
If you could sum up The Billionaire's Confusion in three words, what would they be?
Mysterious, fun, fast paced.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Mollie and Chris equally.
Which scene was your favorite?
For such a short book, the story packed in a lot of detail. It is difficult to choose my favourite scene but I did raise an eyebrow at how fast Mollie and Chris start doing things together. After knowing him for a day she cooks him dinner and then changes into a 2 piece swim suit to go swimming in his pool. As the story progressed though it became more clear why the pair felt so comfortable with each other.
The story is fast paced and left me with the desire to read the series. I'm very intrigued with Chris's past and I can't wait to read more. The narrator did a nice job in her performance and I would definitely seek out the rest of the series in audio format.
