- Miscommunication trope dragged out like it’s 2012. We’re tired. Say the thing.

- Hunter’s redemption arc is messy, hot, and earned

- Ending wraps up faster than it should. Give me two more chapters of fallout and kissing.

Overall I'm generally a fan of the tropes, except for the miscommunication spiral in Once Upon a Thief because we’re grown, and we use our words. But overall, this is a solid binge for listeners who want their fairy tales with a little grit and a lot of heart.

I read and listened to this second set of stories. I think they're good. Like I put in the review for the novel version I wish that there was more closure on the third book. These have hints of the following Fairy tales: Goldilocks, Aladdin and Rapunzel.
