Just brilliant.

Sad but hilarious. awful but wonderful. pompous then grounded. disgusting but lovely. Simple but elegant. An amazing balance of writing.

Highly enjoyable with an excellent bonus interview

This was a great ‘best of’ collection. I very much enjoyed that some of the stories were taken from live recordings with an audience.
As ever, I’m not as keen on the fiction stories, for me Sedaris’s main talent is for non-fiction.
