A Humorous slant on life

While I found some of it funny,I did not find all of it amusing. Narration by Michael Karl Orenstein was good. I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.

Funny collection of short articles

This is a nice collection of newspaper humor columns by Kevin Angle. They are all pretty lighthearted fair, they remind me somewhat of Dave Barry. It is an easy listen and Michael Karl Orenstein did a great job of the narration especially his groan of exasperation or rage. If you want to enjoy some inoffensive humor that is easily digested and can be listened to for only a few minutes at a time without losing track as it they are all fairly short vignettes.

a collection of little and short stories with a lot of humor and acceptance of life it was a very very good book each story was interesting and very cute some of the stories actually made me giggle out loud it was a very very refreshing listen

Hilarious book about every day life!

This book was absolutely hilarious! It was a perfect blend of funny mixed with some heart warming stories. I couldn't quit listening, which got me some weird stares at the pharmacy and grocery store, when I burst out laughing. I started this book on a gloomy, rainy week and it really brightened my week up and put some joy in my days. The narrator was fantastic. He knew just how to inflect emotion in to each story. I would recommend this book to anyone really....anyone at all who needs a good laugh or a pick me up.

LOL

I had a great time with this book. Even though I'm not American, I could identify myself with some of the characters, situations and pet peeves. The first part was definitely hilarious! The second part, on the other hand, was more on a low note. I wish I had listened to the second part first.
