A Humorous slant on life

While I found some of it funny,I did not find all of it amusing. Narration by Michael Karl Orenstein was good. I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.

a collection of little and short stories with a lot of humor and acceptance of life it was a very very good book each story was interesting and very cute some of the stories actually made me giggle out loud it was a very very refreshing listen

Funny collection of short articles

This is a nice collection of newspaper humor columns by Kevin Angle. They are all pretty lighthearted fair, they remind me somewhat of Dave Barry. It is an easy listen and Michael Karl Orenstein did a great job of the narration especially his groan of exasperation or rage. If you want to enjoy some inoffensive humor that is easily digested and can be listened to for only a few minutes at a time without losing track as it they are all fairly short vignettes.

Fun Grouping of Short Stories

This was a fun book that can be listened to in parts since it's a book with a bunch short funny stories. I found them entertaining and thought that the narration of them was well done. This is great for short commutes and car trips.

This collection tickles all the funny bones!

First off: "This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

I found the articles shared in this collection to be quite humorous, and quite on the mark as well. Some of the simplest situations in life contain unseen or unrecognized humor, and the author does a good job of teasing out some of those moments and illustrating them quite nicely. While I can't say that I agree with every single pet peeve or funny moment, I did find some amount of humor in each column.

The narrator of this audiobook was really great also. He did a great job of capturing the essence of the humor in each column, and proved himself quite adept at adding to the humor of each situation through his narrative interpretation.

Hilarious book about every day life!

This book was absolutely hilarious! It was a perfect blend of funny mixed with some heart warming stories. I couldn't quit listening, which got me some weird stares at the pharmacy and grocery store, when I burst out laughing. I started this book on a gloomy, rainy week and it really brightened my week up and put some joy in my days. The narrator was fantastic. He knew just how to inflect emotion in to each story. I would recommend this book to anyone really....anyone at all who needs a good laugh or a pick me up.

I had a great time with this book. Even though I'm not American, I could identify myself with some of the characters, situations and pet peeves. The first part was definitely hilarious! The second part, on the other hand, was more on a low note. I wish I had listened to the second part first.

Clean fun

I found this audiobook a funny look at life. From a OCD kind of way. It is a series of short insights into how Kevin sees his life and the world around him. It is a clean light easy to listen to book. I could see listening to this book on a family trip. The book is narrated by Michael Karl Oreinstein who do a good job of reading this series of newspaper columns that Kevin Engle's has written. I was gifted this audiobook with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

Very Good Collection of Life Experiences

A humorous collection of stories and observations that are of a type we have all encountered during a lifetime. A very enjoyable quick read. The narration was great and added to the experience. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

Hilarious, Short Slice of Life Observations

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Kevin writes short posts on a variety of topics from shaking hands in church to election ads and how much it costs to receive an award at work - and so much more.

Each story is told in upbeat, humorous rants as Kevin unfolds his experiences to us the reader. It made me want to sit down next to him and swap a few stores of my own.

It was a pleasant way to pass the time. I would definitely be up for listening to more from Mr Angel... Angle...? Engle.

The narrator performed the material with gusto and really brought it to life.
