Fun Read - Loved the Narration!
Overall a fun read! And enjoyable listen! the writing style was a little young for me, especially considering the age of the female POV, but that didn't bother me as I continued and found myself more invested in the story. Thoroughly enjoyed this witchy spin on the Job story, where Lucifer is attempting to corrupt a powerful young witch. The narrator did a fabulous job and was very easy on the ears!

Loved it!
Loved it!! Definitely a twist you never see in books — a witch who doesn’t want to use her magic. The characters are developed so well, you will be fully invested in their outcome and begging for more! Plus a unique story, must read/listen!

Interesting
What happens when a witch doesn't like to use her magic meets a dark angel reluctant to do the job he's indebted to Lucifer to do? You get an attraction that should not be. If you like academy style books with good supporting characters and dont might a slightly annoying fmc read or listen to this one. There was a good story, good chemistry, and some funny spots that made it enjoyable.

Quick paranormal read
I’m one to listen at 2 times speed or more and this story was easy to follow. If there were moments I wasn’t clear on who was speaking (because I was multitasking) the dialogue tags grounded me quickly along with the narrators voice.
Short chapters are perfect stopping points but there were enough cliffhangers to make me reluctant.
Now I need book 2 & 3 as an audio book.

not my usual cup of tea
I don't usually go in for books of any kind of religious note but Zara Hoffman handled it with deftness. The characters were engaging, even the bad guy.
