The beginners Guide to the Prophetic :TheABC's of Personal Prophesy

This book is so easy to understand yet it contains so much pertinent information about the prophetic ministry. The narrator put his all in narrating this book with love and compassion. I thought I was in a personal conversation with him. This book encourages all believers in Jesus Christ that prophesy is not for the elect few but for all who have the heart of love and who earnestly desire it . At the end of this book I felt so much joy that I just wanted to start practicing right away. This book explained why believers must walk in love before desiring the prophetic gift. Thank you Mathew for your loving heart and transparency . You have just rebuilt some thing in me and giving me courage to continue the race to the finish line.

Very good book

This is a book that gives very good information about how one knows that one has a prophetic calling upon their life. I like the simple and authentic style in which the book is written, giving the chance to the reader to believe that they are on their way and still a work in progress to hat is being perfected. Thank you for writing this book with such authenticity and humility.

Matthew Gives Life Experience

Matthew has lived what he writes in the ABCs and for those of us beginning the prophetic journey some of his examples can sound like fairy tales but his book is well worth reading.

Great and anointed book

This was a very good and easy to understand book. I believe that while reading this book prophecy came upon me. As I was reading I was given words for the writer but it sounded crazy and it was confirmed in later chapters IT WAS AMAZING!!

I enjoyed this book immensely. I finished it in two days. The insights shared invaluable and genuine. This book is encouraging and very useful. May the author grow from strength to strength.

Prideful Humility....

Is it possible for someone to be prideful and have humility? I highly doubt that, so you are either one or the other. I am not sure why the author feels led to say, on numerous occasions, how he is overweight, carries a mental illness, and is not lazy. These words seem more like defense words than humble words.

I pray that the author is able to successfully publish 50 books. I am sure that he has helped hundreds of people through his writings. I just felt that this was an autobiography of his life as a prophetic Christian, and not a "Beginner's Guide to the ABCs of Prophesy".

Lastly, I have a hard time with how the author describes and accepts his bipolar or mental illness, and then speaks about being a prophet. I too, struggled with mental illness for many years (& still take meds for it), but it was when I found & labeled my identity as being in Christ and not in my mental illness, is when I was set free. The way the author describes & defends this 'characteristic', I believe that he is giving the devil a foothold and keeping the door into his life wide open for anyone to enter.

Mathew claims to be humble in his book but spends a great amount of time speaking on the quantity of books he desires to author and the monies needed to do so. I have a difficulty understanding why and how monies are given and required for receiving a word from God (prophecy). Overall an interesting perspective...
