Fantastic Book and Learned A Lot!
The audiobook "The Beginner's Guide to Stoicism: Embrace Ancient Wisdom to Overcome Modern Stress and Anxiety" was surprising! I did not really know what to expect, and had heard good things. I was right, and am very happy I gave it a listen.
I suffer from anxiety and the challenges of the world around us. The book does a really nice job at providing us with teachings and stories to help us be more calm from ancient traditions.
I love the history lesson in this book, and how it relates to how to deal with today's society.
We can all gain more from life when we become resilient and peaceful.
The narrator is great, and easy to listen to. I do recommend this book!

West Meets East
It is so common to hear about mindfulness and meditation these days. I always assumed that these ways of being and thinking originated in Eastern cultures. How refreshing to learn that the West also has a deep tradition of thoughtfulness and conscious living.
