How can a blind man see more than his companion, the hunter? And how do fishes find themselves swimming in the grass of a forest? Nothing is quite as it seems in this unusual collection of tales gathered from the far north to the equator, and the transformations that occur provide plenty of food for thought on just how vast and mysterious our world is.

Heartbroken!
I have over 400 Audible books & this is, without doubt, one of my absolute favorites! The stories are tender & full of loveliness & Juliet Stevenson... well, she simply must go on living forever to tell me stories! Her voice is the perfect match to anything graceful & moving! Juliet, I love you! This book has been such a treasure in my library! I love it so much that I’ve looked to see if there was a sequel... only to discover that this book, in print, contains several more ballets! This reading only contains the first 3, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty & Daphnis & Chole. But the Book also has: Cinderella, Swan Lake & Coppelia! The only way this book could be more perfect is if it also featured Giselle... I am heartbroken that we are missing out on hearing Juliet Stevenson read the other Ballets to us! I want the rest of this book! It’s beautiful in every way & deserves a full production!
