Excellent History

There are small footnotes in history which are easily glossed aside, but despite being a "footnote" the Bar Kokhba revolt should be something every fan of Ancient history should be aware of.

Very good read and easy to follow along. The wudio book was just as good

had some interesting moments

overall, it was fairly interesting, but I definitely found some times a bit hard to follow. perhaps a 2nd listening might help. one point I was surprised by, was finding out that the pharisees n saduceees were against each other...coz the Bible only mentions them being against a certain teacher

Great history, I learned much from this work

Jewish revolts against Rome always seemed somewhat blurred in my mind, but this work clarified the earlier revolts and the later Bar Kokhba (son of star) Revolt. This works covers the history of the revolt without diminishing the character of the religions of the time. Very well done!
