The Life of Trust contains his diary up to 1860, supplemented by autobiographical notes at the start and throughout the text. Mueller founded a number of orphanages in England in the 19th century whilst refusing to personally benefit in any way, fully trusting that God would provide in his financial needs. Throughout his life, he relied on God’s goodness in order to feed, clothe, and house thousands of English children under his care.

a great story about a faithful man of God.
I loved the story. I struggled some with the first few hours as money came just in time as God wanted it. It was hard for me but may not be for you. George Muller loves to give stars on money that came in. ultimately it is a testimony to God's faithfulness.
This book encouraged me and I believe it will encourage you to see what God can do through a faithful man or woman.

Awesome
Would you listen to The Autobiography of George Müller again? Why?
Yes, it is totally awesome. Read it when I first was converted years ago. It formed the foundation of my prayer life. Related to him very much. I believe he was an accountant, like me. Was a rascal, like me. I can't prayer that long on my knees like him that long, though.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Autobiography of George Müller?
His faith and patience.
What about Derek Perkins’s performance did you like?
Very intelligent sounding.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No.

Totally awesome. If you like, intelligent, organized, Christian historical figures you will love this. Uses old language - it is a hoot. Some may think it is boring, like my wife, but I love it. I am a CPA so that might explain some of it.

Very humbling
Loved it, if you want to hear about a faithful man this book is great. We could all stand to have more faith in our Lord to handle our worries, like George Muller did.

What a gracious God Christians have!
I enjoyed hearing how God, through Christ, was faithful to His promises in G. Miller's life! And His faithfulness not only stretched over many decades, but accomplished so much good for so many people.
