Acerca de esta escucha
Harness the power of conflict to emerge more confident, secure, and self-aware… and build stronger relationships.
It’s natural to avoid conflict, as it can be unpleasant and sometimes painful, causing stress, anxiety, and a sense of powerlessness. Yet conflict is unavoidable and happens in all spheres of life. In fact, research by Myers-Briggs indicates that 85% of employees experience conflict, with 29% dealing with it regularly.
What if you could see conflict differently—not as a problem but as a chance to understand yourself better, choose how you respond, and gain insight into others?
This book empowers you to focus on what you can change about yourself to improve conflict outcomes. It guides you in honing your self-awareness and empathy, and offers strategies to express your boundaries effectively.
The content helps you move from a position of helplessness to recognizing your autonomy, even in challenging situations.
Here's what the book includes:
• Techniques for viewing conflict as a growth catalyst.
• Strategies for managing conflict in the workplace.
• Ways to enhance personal relationships through conflict resolution.
• Understanding the impact of cultural differences in resolving conflicts.
• Practical tools and plans for personalized conflict management.
• Insights into the major challenges of conflict resolution and how to conquer them.
• Methods to turn conflict into opportunities for innovation and lasting peace.
Transforming your approach to conflict helps you control the dynamics and outcomes, leveraging conflicts for personal and communal growth.

A new view[oint!
I really enjoyed this book. It taught me how to see conflict differently — not as something to avoid, but as a chance to learn to solve problems in a better way. The author explains things in a clear and easy-to-understand way, with helpful examples that made the lessons stick with me. The advice was practical and I’ve already started using some of the techniques in my daily life. If you want to handle disagreements more calmly and turn tough situations into positive ones, I think this book is a great read.

finding personal growth by overcoming conflict
Conflict is everywhere, it seems. That's why I'm glad I found this audiobook on taking a conflict situation and turning it into an opportunity. But the key here is changing yourself rather than expecting the other person to change. One of the biggest things that helped me is acknowledging the stories we tell ourselves (which are often negative) about the situation and what the other person is "doing to us." Another big help from this book is the realization that diverse cultures may do things differently, so we need to be sensitive to that. I found the interactive exercises to be engaging, and also the use of roll-playing to evaluate different situations better. Jasper Shaw is a talented narrator with a great vocal range, which made listening more entertaining.
