This book gives good tips on how to become a better tennis player. My friend and I are new to doubles tennis but we keep losing. After listening to this book, I feel more confident that we can win some matches by using these tips. I didn’t realize that if you are able to control the net, you have a better chance at winning every time. You can return the low balls with a low hit and hopefully get the ball near the opponent’s feet, which is hard for them to return. I also realized after listening to this book that our positioning was off, which is a critical mistake. This was a very informative guide to winning and I look forward to using these tips to dominate on the court!

What I like most about this audiobook is how approachable it is. Whether you're brand new to doubles or have been playing for years, it highlights smart techniques that instantly make you a better partner and competitor. It explains formations, smart shot choices, and mental toughness in a way that feels doable for recreational players, not just pros. It turns doubles from "chaotic guessing" into a strategic team sport you can actually feel confident in. A really solid listen for anyone wanting to wine more while enjoying the game.

You start reading and quickly feel like someone is walking you through the game instead of talking at you. The ideas are laid out clearly, so you’re never guessing what to do next. You’re nudged to think differently about teamwork, court awareness, and timing in ways that actually make sense mid-match. What I liked best is how easy it is to imagine using these tips the very next time you play. You walk away feeling calmer, more prepared, and more in sync with your partner.

I’ve played a decent amount of tennis, but doubles always felt a little chaotic—like I was guessing more than playing. This book helped it click. The “8 keys” are laid out in a simple, practical way, and I liked that it focuses on the stuff that actually wins doubles points: positioning, communication, and smart shot choices instead of trying to hit harder. I found myself thinking about it the next time I was on the court, and it immediately improved how my partner and I worked together.

I play in a local recreational league on weekends, and I just wanted to stop losing every set. This audiobook gave me some practical tools I could use right away. I didn't have to relearn my swing or anything drastic; I just had to change where I was standing and what I was looking for.

The "number one key to winning" mentioned in the book is actually surprisingly simple, but I never thought about it that way before. I tried it out in my game yesterday, and it forced our opponents to make errors. It felt good to be the one in control of the point for once.
