"Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" is maybe the most important and well-known sermon of his, but also included is A Divine and Supernatural Light describing and illuminating what Edwards describes as a supernatural light imparted by God. His farewell sermon was given in June of 1750 and is a commendation to those who are in the Lord's service, a plea to maintain unity, avoid dissension and false doctrine, and a call to devote themselves to prayer.

Powerful & soul-searching. God used this book!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I have and he was so helped by it. We all struggle with discontentment far more than we recognize. It is at the root of so much of our sin.
What about David Cochran Heath’s performance did you like?

Wonderful book
Contains lots of short sayings and illustrations and wisdom that if meditated upon may be helpful to have in the heart for oneself or for sharing with others. It was nice to be able to access this book in audible, but I may buy it in print, too.

A richer affection for God’s sovereignty
With a deeper love and understanding for God, eternity with Him, and His sovereign will- I find my heart and mind at peace in my current circumstances. What I needed was hours of reminders of truth to be contented in my soul.

A remarkable audiobook
What made the experience of listening to The Art of Divine Contentment the most enjoyable?
This very old book contains depth of insight that eludes most modern writers. The reader does an excellent job of translating the content to audio. I would strongly encourage people to give this a listen.

Every Christian Needs to Read
True devotion and piety today is lacking in Christianity. Many think they are able to acquire the title but neglect the life. This world offers nothing but various grounds in which to sow seed. It is worth it to loose all and gain Christ. In doing so the call for us is to holiness. May we see the urgency and earnestness required of us by our Master. This contentment is truly a holy frame in which this life grows dim and heavens glories shine brightest.
