The author really really wanted the government to take full control of the central bank, and the only basis he offered for his theory was they are elected, and takes people's interest as priority ... toward the end, he mentioned a lot leftist revolutions to create a world government were with good intentions, but only then he realized good intentions don't always produce good results. There are self-contradictions all over the book.

All the wars, all the presidential assassinations, was caused by the bankers. Even Bolshevik revolution was funded by international bankers. But he totally forgot one thing for sure, the US started the war of 1812, not the Britain invaded the US after the 1st US bank charter expired as he thought ...

The first amendment protects free speech, but doesn't protect one from being ridiculed and laughed at - that is just simply somebody else's free speech.
