Love the premise!

I have to say I really enjoyed this book! From the exciting and adventurous travels of Adam, to the premise built around the extant flesh of Jesus used as a vehicle to change the world captured and held my attention throughout the book. The curious notion that the flesh of Jesus survived 2,000 years was interesting due to the fact that if Jesus was perfect in his physical body with no defects, then it makes sense that cells from his flesh could be regenerative in nature. From here, the suspense of those chasing down the 'perfect cells' made this story quite captivating. I enjoyed the character development and romantic overtures but what most impressed me was the story of redemption and forgiveness woven throughout this work. A true gem in my opinion and worthy of a sequel!

Good Idea but Very Poor Execution

Although this was somewhat entertaining:
1-The ending is ridiculous.
2-There is a lot of wasted time constantly describing meals in detail--to the point of being sickening.
3-Many incidents are completely unrealistic and cartoonish. People hack into computer systems in seconds and the characters have unbelievable SWAT and McGyver and marksman skills with no explanation.
4-Although I am a religious person, too much of this book depends on an Evangelical perspective.
5-There are long sections in which the female lead talks to herself in a silly and very fake manner. It would make more sense for the writer to describe the action than for the character to narrate it to herself. "Hey, I think I'll look over here. Well, that didn't work. Maybe I should check outside. Hmm, I don't see anything."
