The characters are getting more irritating as the books go along
The narrator is one of the best but lately some of characters voices are either identical or nasally and whiny. The mother (Wilma) is the worst with her bi-polar ups and downs. And the girls , I’ll say it nicely , constantly groveling to Wilma drives me up the wall. There are times I want to shut it off but bite the bullet and keep listening or I’ll forever wish I had. All in all I really love these stories (although Beverly Lewis’s writings of Amish stories are the very best. ) so , yes, the Bonnet sisters are definitely worth listening to too. Now on to the next 3 stories in this long series!
