Could have been good
The synopsis sounded interesting, so I started this with a smile. I had a few books with virtual voice narration. They weren’t as good as a real person, but they weren’t bad. This one however was awful.
It stuttered, mispronounced simple words, pronounced acronyms as real words and kept mispronouncing the character names to the point I couldn’t follow the plot.
I wanted to stop and review this about a 1/4 of the way through but had to endure it a bit longer. I let it play and fell asleep[from boredom].
I gave the story a 3, as I still believe it had potential, but I will get the actual book and read it, skipping the virtual voice disaster.
Recommendation to the author: re-record this with a real person one who knows how to pronounce helluva and not say w-t-f as word.
You did your creation a disservice going with the computer narrator.

Great read!
I enjoyed this interesting thriller and the surprising twists throughout the book. The close relationship between mother and daughter was well written and had a shocking reveal that I didn’t see coming!

digital voice
I could not get through this book because of the narration. the premise sounded good, but I couldn't get past the cadence of the reader. If the narrator is a digital voice that should be posted somewhere..
