Shifters all around

The Alpha Option is book 1 in the new Timberwolf Lodge series and follows Jace and Cassidy as they return Timberwolf Lodge to its previous status while learning new ways of life.

Jace is a wolf shifter. Years ago, he chose to leave his pack, his family, for several reasons. After dealing with an Alpha that had gone off the rails, another member, who actually remedied the problem, took over as Alpha of the pack. Jace was a stronger Alpha than the new one and knew it would be a problem for him and for the new Alpha. He was also starting up his company and would need to travel, which is not conducive to being a new Alpha. So he chose to leave and pursue his company dream. But when his aunt enlists him to be the caretaker of Timberwolf Lodge, he has no choice but to come home and deal with the old pack issues.

Cassidy and her best friend, Stephanie, won the online giveaway for the Timberwolf Lodge. They are fixing the lodge up in hopes of returning it to its former glory, and financially sound. They have one year to bring the lodge back to life. Their goal is sooner as Stephanie's sister and three sons will be moving there with them shortly. So much to do, so little time, and too many distractions.

When Jace returns home to fulfill his obligation, he knows there will be issues. When he left, he left some unfinished business that will now need to be resolved.

Cassidy is in for a wild ride at Timberwolf Lodge. She has no idea what she is in for. Her first impression of the Lodge is a naked man in the middle of the lodge. When Jace and his cousin, Blue, come running, they are in for a surprise.

When Jace tries to explain about who they are, Blue steps in. As an Omega, he understands people and knows what they can handle and what they can't. So when he demonstrates to the girls, Jace is expecting them to scream or run. But that is not what he gets. Little does he know, they are both experienced with shifters.

The one thing Jace was not expecting, was finding his mate. And that is exactly what happens. But will his past cost him his future mate?

As Jace works to reconcile with his past, his future will be threatened. An unexpected young wolf's cry will send three cousins in pursuit of the cry, straight in to danger. Will they be in time? Will the past ever be reconciled? Will the mates find true love or be separated by fate?

I loved it!

A new audiobook from Vivian Arend? Yay! This story was exiting and smexy. It was a great start to a new series. Cassidy isn’t sure what all is going on at the lodge she been chosen to take care of but she’s definitely intrigued by Jace and his friends.

I loved everything about this. There was a twist I wasn’t really expecting and it led to a great resolution to a bit of a sticky problem between Jace and his cousin. The epilogue was a great teaser for the next book and I’m looking forward to listening to it. I loved the way Tatiana Sokolov performed this story!

Timberwolf Lodge

Great start to the series! I’ve listened to other stories by this author, but this one felt a little different. Maybe a little more light hearted. A little short and a lot fun. Always love a good found family story with a little steam.

Great read, loved it! Very engaging!

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and was engaging from the very beginning. I loved diving into this new world and the premise it is set up with. Jace is coming back as he has been given the Timberwolf Creek Lodge from his Auntie and he quickly finds out that he just got the property and that the building was raffled off in a lottery online by his Auntie. He quickly gets a run in with the woman that won and they start to come up to speed about some of the complications that were set up. There are complications as well since Cassidy is human and Jace is a wolf shifter. They have to figure out how to navigate that and figuring out how to share that information along with everything else going on and Jace quickly locks on to the fact that Cassidy is his mate. I loved seeing Jace connect back with Blue and how he interacted with Cassidy and Stephanie. I loved Blue's antics as well as Marvin. Added some great humor within the story as Jace has to deal with his cousin Del and the threat that was given before he left years ago. This story was well written and engaging and I loved Cassidy's female alpha energy and attitude and how it was brought out more with Jace. This was a fun and entertaining story. It was a little on the shorter side but it didn't feel like it got shorted or like something was missing. It was just a quicker read rather than a longer one but it was well developed and set up the next book well and I can't wait for it!
The narrator did a great job with the story and bringing it to life as well as the characters. It was easy to listen to and added that extra dynamic.

Short but packs a punch

This was a great start to the series. It had so many twist and turns in it. Loved the drama, romance and action through out the entire story. One scene towards the end when 2 “enemies” come together to save a family snagged my heart. The narrator did a fantastic job with all the different voices this book had. She does awesome work in so many other books as well. Love her to pieces. Can’t wait to check out book 2

Steamy Beginnings

You can never go wrong with a Vivian Arend story. This book checked all my boxes, sexy man, strong woman, an unexplainable and instant attraction that not only ignites the imagination, but shifters to boot. When Cassidy and her friends win a Lodge, they see it as the opportunity to start fresh, and provide a safe place for one very special little boy. They never imagined that the Timberwolf Lodge would become the home that they find more than just safety. This exciting and imaginative story brings three women to Jasper and when the males of the pack get a whiff of their scent there is no stopping their desire to chase and win their mate. Tatiana is a great narrator and brings this story to life. I can’t wait for more.

Challenge Accepted

Cassidy Rundle and Jace Carter have a funny but rough start. I like the little twist that Aunt Rachel throws in Jace's path. Oh, and Marvin! 😂

This series starter is a great blend of humor and drama. Let us not forget the delectable heat levels, too. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Jace and Cassidy are well matched and I love every minute that I got to spend with them!

Blue's crush is an adorable addition to the story. And Del... I look forward to seeing where that all leads.

The Alpha Option is a great weekend read for when you want a quick fun read for shifters and their mates. When Jace discovered Cassidy in his family lodge, he had no idea his grandmother had awarded her the winner of a lottery to repair and open the lodge. Great start to a new series. Loved narrator Tatiana Sokolov.

This was a clean, cute, slow paranormal romance. This is a quick audio book.
I liked listening to this and I think the narrator did a good job.
Cassidy won a lottery to repair and open a Lodge, so she, her friend and her friend's sister decide to pack up and start a new adventure. That is where she meets Jace as he is the caretaker and nephew of the previous owner. He is also a wolf shifter and Cassidy is his mate. I also enjoyed the side characters and can't wait to read/listen to their story.
