The AI that reads the book does not impress.

The story is good but it is told in first person. this isn't a problem except that the AI narrator does nothing to portray the emotion that should be associated with events the character is telling. the tragedy of loss falls flat. I did not realize how important emotion from readers was to a true narration until I let an AI read me this book. Again, the story and characters are good but the AI is not.

Weak Science Fiction

The story incorporates too many typical science fiction themes. The AI voice performance is weird as it has no emotion or voice inflection.
