A Scandal in Bohemia: When a masked unidentified man approaches Sherlock Holmes, he wastes no time in looking through the disguise and identifying the man as the King of Bohemia. The king has approached Holmes in the matter of a woman named Irene Adler. She claims to have evidence that shows the king in a compromising position with her, and she intends send it to the woman the king is going to marry. Sherlock Holmes is the only one who can help him.

A Case of Identity: Mary Sutherland is desperate to know the location of Mr. Hosmer Angel, her fiancee who mysteriously disappeared on the day of their wedding. She has come to Sherlock Holmes, against the wishes of her step father, Mr. Windibank, who thinks the whole thing is unsolvable. While Watson finds himself lost, not knowing where to start, Holmes has already cracked the case.

The Man with the Twisted Lip: One Neville St. Clair, a very simple man, who lives with his wife and two children, has suddenly gone missing, and Sherlock Holmes sets out to find him. On his little adventure, he stumbles upon Watson, who decides to come along and solve the mystery. They venture into the dark alleys of opium dens to find St. Clair. Will Watson and Holmes be able to find him? And how?

The Copper Beeches: When Violet Hunter, who has been a governess for about five years, receives a rather strange job offer, she seeks the help of Holmes. The job offers her double the money, but asks her to do some odd things, which also involve cutting her hair. She wants to take up the job, but wants assurance from Holmes for support in case she needs it. Holmes and Watson assure her that they will help. They indeed do hear from her very soon.
