This is book 7 in the series of the children's bedtime chapters of The Adventutes of Elf and Troll. Our heroes continue to fight against the evil of Blakrok the dragon who was borne from a falling star. The races in the mythic land of Idsnodds have been living in harmony until the intrusion of various visitors the humans who fought conquered then secretly married some of the Elven kind. The elven Queen Violotha removed her Elven people back to a sky palace to save them. But Elf and her stone companion Troll work together to bring peace and understanding with the help of range riders, talking horses, the book Elf Baldrick and a young hedge witch Sansee, to protect the baby of the king and queen and the goddess of the new year, the Tattered Unicorn return to her underworld again this year. A children's story will still be relevant and interesting for adults too.
