Dodge Dalton's stories about the adventures of Captain Zane Falcon have made both the author, and his iconic protagonist, famous. Maybe a little too famous. When a diabolical villain, wielding a fantastic power unearthed in the ruins of a forgotten civilization, kidnaps the president, he has only one demand: a fight with America's greatest hero. There's just one problem: Falcon doesn't exist. Or does he?
In order to save America, Dodge must embark on a journey to the ends of the earth to find Captain Falcon, and along the way will discover the hero within himself.

A classic pulp story with all that means
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
A good listen for a lover of pulp stories, although the narration is merely adequate. Listen for the story and not for the narrator.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I found the narration a bit lacking in cadence and characterization. The narrator seems to substitute volume for pacing and storytelling. As storytelling is the essence of pulp fiction this stands out more than it might in other situations.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Non-stop action in the style of Indiana Jones.

So much fun
If you're looking for an action/ adventure story that'll keep you turning the page, not knowing what to expect next - other than excellent writing, then this is the book for you. Action, suspense, friendship it's all here, a highly recommended book. I cannot wait for the next installment of Dodge Dalton.

Great Story
A Different spin on Atlantis & conquering etc., it reads like a B movie some twist and turns and Jet Packs lots of them now I want one too. Very non-stop action and character building and discovery of characters along the way. The narration was good not the best but good and not horrible like some. Worth a try remember the narration changes for the next two books and the other review for it says he's great so ya.
