Within a week she’s survived a charity-shop avalanche, an incident with a chihuahua with attitude, a custard-related revolt at the food bank, and a children’s drama session where she was cast as a tree.

But between the glue, tea, and questionable decision-making, something unexpected forms: a small group who keep turning up for each other. Tasha, Rupa, Mo, Lee - and Ronnie, each as uniquely quirky and lovingly incompetent as the next.

Together, they create The Workshop Café: a slightly chaotic, strangely brilliant corner of the community where people come to share skills, stories, biscuits, and their lives.
