This old man was an utter failure in life, with no proper job, or sense of responsibility towards his family right from the time of his marriage. He virtually becomes a pauper. His wife had to find all sorts of odd jobs, in order to feed her children and bring them up reasonably well in life. Once the children get settled in life, she turns extremely bitter towards her old husband and keeps chiding him for all his callousness in life. Frustrated, the old man would run away from the family for a couple of days and then return home shamelessly. It becomes a regular affair. After one such bitter fight, the humiliated husband who ran away, did not turn up as usual. Was there an end to the woes of the old lady? A story mixed with mild humor, sarcasm, and a little philosophy. கல்யாணம் ஆன நாள் முதலாகவே தாத்தா ஒன்றுக்கும் லாயக்கற்றவர்; ஒழுங்கான வேலை, சம்பாத்தியம், குடும்பப் பொறுப்பு ஏதும் கிடையாது. ஓரு நாள் ஓட்டாண்டியாகவும் ஆகிவிட்டார். பாவம் அவர் மனைவிதான், செய்யாத வேலைகளையெல்லாம் செய்து, பாடுபட்டு, பெற்ற குழந்தைகளை வளர்த்து ஆளாக்கவேண்டியிருந்தது. பிள்ளைகள் வாழ்க்கையில் செட்டில் ஆகியதும், பாட்டிக்குத் தன் கணவன் மீது கோபம் பொங்கிப் பொங்கி வர, வார்த்தைகளால் சதா சாட ஆரம்பித்தார். அவமானத்தால் குன்றிய தாத்தா, வீட்டை விட்டு ஓடிப்போவார். ஆனால், வெளியே தாக்குப் பிடிக்க வழியில்லாததால் வெட்கம் கெட்டுத் திரும்பி வந்துவிடுவார். பலமுறை இப்படி ஆகிவிட்டது. ஒரு சமயம் பாட்டிக்கு சாமி வந்தது போல் வந்த கோபத்தைத் தாங்க முடியாது ஓடிப்போய்விட்ட தாத்தா, வழக்கம் போல் திரும்பிவரக் காணோம். கடைசியாய் பாட்டிக்கு ஒரு விடிவு வந்துவிட்டதா? மெல்லிய நகைச்சுவையும், நக்கலும், வாழ்க்கைத் தத்துவமும் கலந்த கதை இது.©2023 Storyside IN (P)2023 Storyside IN
