Acclaimed for her role as Maeve Millay in HBO series Westworld, for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination, and her role in BBC One drama Line of Duty, for which she received a TV BAFTA nomination, Thandie now narrates the audiobook of Jessie Burton’s short story 'The Restless Girls'.

Thandie talks to us about the importance of diversity in storytelling, explains why 'The Restless Girls' is a 21st-century fairy tale and shares her thoughts on being cast as a madame in Westworld.

Jeez, what was that?!

I just love Thandie Newton, but I am not sure I understood why Robin Morgan-Bentley has to constantly cut her off and speak over her speaking. It was getting a bit ridiculous towards the end: asking her a question, but then not letting her answer. So much for "oh, it's soooooo important that women have a voice" - duh!!!
