Best book of this author I've read so far. My favorite is that the FMC stayed strong throughout even becoming a true heroine to her hero.

 This is so ridiculous
This is so ridiculous… she makes up stupid plot contrivances… he sold his land for a dollar because of a letter… a letter that could damage his reputation…  I deleted the book… I couldn’t read anymore… so stupid… this woman left her child to be abused by her family, instead of reaching out to the father of the child, because she was such a strong, proud woman… so freaking stupid.. and it really annoys me how throughout the book… he keeps putting off reading the letter from his father, because he could open a Pandora’s box… he doesn’t ask questions… he just makes us assumptions… plot, contents, and irritating
