Temporary Fiancé For the Holidays

This is a novella about a woman who believes her life is in danger from her step-mother so she moves out and is making friends. Pepper works the phone return desk at the phone store and occasionally swaps out phones she thinks might have some interesting pictures or messages. She swaps one out for a burner phone of her own, which has some incriminating pictures of her step-mother.

Henri can't believe he was so stupid and he has to get his phone back. If the codes fall in the hands of the wrong person, then someone will clean out his family's bank accounts. Worried when the beautiful woman working the phone desk shares she night have swapped it out with her phone, he decides to stick to the woman like glue, until he can get to the bottom if it.

This is a romantic suspense story, some business and mafia characters and is a clean read. Thank you for considering my escapist read.
