Resumen del Editor

Violence is considered by most a tricky thing to predict. Some researchers say otherwise and that violence may actually be able to be prevented. I look deep into the history of media's influence on violence in society as well as today's influence. I also discuss important studies that were conducted to reveal the truth.

Dive into this best seller and find out all about violence and just how great our censorship is at preventing children from viewing certain movies or programs.

I have bachelor's degree in business administration and an associate's degree in management technology.

Is TV bad for kids?

I have to admit a certain bias in this area. I really don't believe that tv hurts kids, unless they are watching it instead of studying. It seems to be an argument that goes back to when people thought that comic books were a danger to children. However, I can put aside my stance, and listen to the author and take in his point of view.

He does a good job presenting his points, and then supporting them with facts. He has a fairly detailed history of TV and howit has affected children over time. I won't list his points, otherwise why read the book? Still, I can completely understand his POV and say that he makes valid arguments.

Zens does a fine job narrating, and pacing his speaking well.
